Early breakfast at the fantastic mount b&b. They even dropped the price of our room so we could put the difference to our charities!
Headed out of ludlow towards warrington, another stonkingly hot day.
Made good steady progress to shrewsbury. Then stopped for a late lunch at a strange pub, but good though.
Warrington and wigan grim. Too scared to stop. Sped through to get to the premier inn. Not bad steak and chips in brewers fayre with a bottle of red.
Now back in brewers fayre for breakfast after being sent out for being 1 minute early. The kind lady in charge has just informed us 'I feel like death warmed up... I was working yesterday being nice to people all day, now I have to be nice again, ahh!'
Lake district today, can't wait.
Rain expected, might get to try out my jacket!
